Developer

Siyakhula Technologies is currently in search of a developer in the Western Cape. The position will be at Siyakhula Technologies Head Office based in Panorama, Cape Town.

Below are the desired requirements from the candidate:

Required experience:

1.       PHP experience - 2 years plus

2.       MySQL – 2 years plus

3.       XHTML/HTML - 2 years plus

4.       CSS2 – 2 years plus

5.       Javascript – 1 year plus

6.       Photoshop CS1 and upward (image manipulation, optimisation and slicing) – 2 years

Optimum:

1.       Linux experience, especially web server (Apache) setup.

2.       JQuery and/or Scriptaculous experience.

3.       Drupal 6

4.       Wamp

5.       Familiarity with FTP environments

Personal Attributes:

1.      Good Communication skills

2.      Good interpersonal skills

3.      Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Specifics:

1.      Salary Negotiable

2.      Position is on a three month probation contract, thereafter contract will be evaluated for further extension
