Help with Drupal on IIS7

Can someone give me an idea about how to get Drupal working in a stable way on IIS7 (Windows Server 2008) using FastCGI? I have followed all the setup instructions both from Drupal.org, and from IIS.net for using FastCGI and PHP5.2.9, but it is really unstable. I changed the mapepd handler to CGI module instead of FastCGI Module and it is working - but there are performance issues....
Help would be greatly appreciated!

FastCGI support in PHP is still not as well tested/robust as FastCGI is in Perl, Ruby and Python (especially if you are using the 64 Bit version of Server 2008).
Here is a post on drupal.org, perhaps the updates listed in this post may stabilise things (http://drupal.org/node/354640) alternatively the ISAPI module should work.
